Met Police Jubilee House

From RIBA Stage 2, inclusive of extensive consultation and design development with multiple stakeholders, Architon were responsible for designing the complete refurbishment of this existing 1970s multi-block building, close to Putney Bridge, to provide circa 12,000sqm of flexible accommodation to suit the existing building constraints and MPS Design guides.  The project scope included a new training and conference suite, a new catering facility with kitchen, servery, Dining Room and Night Cooking Unit (NCU), a gymnasium with associated locker, toilet and shower facilities and drying room, an armoury, technical equipment rooms (TER) and wiring rooms, evidential stores and Murder Investigation Team (MIT) suite.

The project achieved a BREEAM Very Good rating in accordance with the MPS Sustainability Checklist and Gateway Processes by the addition of internal thermal linings, new double glazed windows and entrance lobbies and enhanced roof finish and the works were executed in phases with MPS in partial occupation throughout.
